The development of AV Guardian is a  story  of finding solutions to prevent unwanted interactions between wildlife and man made structure such as aircraft, buildings, cell towers, bridges, wind turbines,  and aquaculture farms. Turns out studying avian neuroreceptors and motor responses resulted in developing a light source that is uncomfortable and makes the birds turn away. More than glare, glint  from LED UV lights  in the right place at the right time makes the birds turn aways from potential and possibly fatal collisions..
